PSA2016 Travel Grants
The PSA accepted applications for travel awards to be used to cover the cost of registration and traveling to and from the 2016 PSA biennial meeting in Atlanta.
Deadline for Applications was: 14 August 2016.
Awards were announced no later than 5 September 2016. Reimbursement occurred after the meeting, contingent upon submission of relevant receipts.
Applicants will be considered for one of two travel grants—the National Science Foundation Travel Grant or the Philosophy of Science Association Travel Grant.
NSF travel awards cannot exceed $750 for domestic travel and $1000 for international travel. PSA travel awards are likely to be significantly lower than these maximum amounts; the amount will depend on the number of applicants and the money raised to support the PSA Graduate Student and Early Career Travel Fund. Donations to the PSA Graduate Student and Early Career Travel Fund can be made when registering for the meeting.
