Childcare at PSA2016

The Governing Board of the PSA is happy to announce that we had onsite childcare services at PSA2016 for children ages 6 months to 12 years. The services were provided by Accent on Children's Arrangements, Inc., and the services were provided onsite at the conference hotel. The PSA is committed to helping those with children more easily attend its meetings, and devoting significant resources to support this. The PSA is also thankful to the Westin Peachtree Plaza for helping provide space for the childcare services.

The hours were as follows:

Thursday, November 3, 2016: 8:30 am - 7:30 pm
Friday, November 4, 2016: 7:15 am - 8:45 pm
Saturday, November 5, 2016: 7:00 am - 7:30 pm

The charges to parents for using the childcare services were as follows: 
 

Package Options	Children ages 6 months - 36 months	Children ages 3 years - 12 yrs
4 consecutive hours minimum rate	$13 per hour	$11 per hour
Full Day	$125	$100

In addition, those receiving PSA Dependent Care Subsidies were able to use these subsidies to pay for childcare at the meeting using these services.

Dependent Care Subsidies

The Governing Board of the PSA is pleased to announce the creation of a Dependent Care Fund for Biennial Meetings of the PSA. The fund was used to provide subsidies to PSA members who need help covering additional dependent care expenses incurred (at home or at the conference) when attending biennial meetings of the PSA. The fund provided up to $200 subsidies for PSA2016, depending on available funding. The subsidies were limited to members of the PSA.
